FACIAL SURGERY

Ears correction surgery

Otoplasty, also known as “ear surgery”, is the intervention that is done to reposition the so-called “elbow ears”. It is an intervention indicated for patients from 4 years of age, since it is at that age when the ears have grown almost completely.

Depending on the case and the characteristics of the patient, the operation will be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia (with or without sedation). Between 5 and 7 days after the operation, the patient can return to his daily life, to work or school, with total normality.

Eyelid surgery

The “surgery of the eyelids” or blepharoplasty aims to eliminate excess fat from the upper or lower eyelids, to correct the drooping of the eyelids and / or lower bags. With this intervention it is possible to eliminate that feeling of tiredness or heaviness in the look, getting a broader and more youthful look.

The anesthesia that is usually administered is local with sedation, and in a smaller number of cases general anesthesia is used. It can also be performed without surgery thanks to laser technology.

Facelift

The lifting is a procedure that allows to mitigate the most visible signs of aging in the face. It is an intervention that allows to stretch the skin and get a smoother appearance. It usually requires a night of hospitalization. Surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia, although it can sometimes be performed under local anesthesia and sedation.

The days after the intervention, the patient should rest and avoid sun exposure, as well as the use of cosmetics. It is estimated that the intervention is visible in the patient about 10 years.

Removal of scars

Through the Scars Revision, plastic surgery that is done to remove scars, it is possible to noticeably improve the appearance of a scar, making it less visible.

Benign skin tumors

The laser allows us to eliminate benign tumors of the skin quickly and effectively without scarring.

The Erbium Laser allows its rapid elimination and virtually no visible scar, even in difficult places such as the tip of the nose, eyelid or lips.

Nose correction surgery

The “surgery of the nose” or rhinoplasty is the intervention that allows to correct the shape of the nose, achieving a more balanced and harmonious appearance. There are two techniques: open and closed.

In the open, a small incision is made at the base of the nose, but in closed rhinoplasty it is performed without cuts from inside the nose.

Closed surgery is indicated especially for cases with little difficulty and is performed with local anesthesia and sedation. The anesthesia used for this operation is usually general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation, and usually require a night of hospitalization after surgery.
